Accord Coupe
The 2010 Accord Coupe, available at Griffith Honda, a leading Honda dealer serving Portland, OR, is a 2-door, 5-passenger family coupe, or sports coupe, available in 12 trims, ranging from the LX-S 5-Spd MT to the EX-L V-6 5-Spd AT w/ Navigation System.
Upon introduction, the LX-S 5-Spd MT is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter, I4, 190-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 31-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The EX-L V-6 5-speed AT with a navigation system is equipped with a standard 3.5-liter, V6, 271-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway.
Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
The standard Accord LX-S is available in manual and automatic transmission. If you select the LX-S you receive 17-inch alloy wheels, projector-beam halogen headlights, air conditioning with air-filtration, illuminated steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, 160-watt AM/FM/6-disc in-dash audio system, vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA®) with traction control, and advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure.
The Accord EX and EX-L can add or replace features to the LX-S including one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, heated power side mirrors, blue ambient console lighting, 270-watt AM/FM/6-disc in-dash premium audio system with 7 speakers including subwoofer, leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, XM® Radio2, and Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™3 with voice recognition—including Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®4 capability.
The top-of-the-line EX-L V-6 adds or replaces features on the EX-L including 271-hp, 3.5-liter, V-6 engine, V-6 5AT model features Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM) technology, 18-inch alloy wheels , rear decklid spoiler, homeLink5 remote system, and available close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission
Powertrains and Performance
Accord Coupe offers three engines: a 2.4-liter i-VTEC 4-cylinder, putting out 190 hp; and two versions of a 271-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 i-VTEC (automatic models) and the 6-speed manual transmission.
i-VTEC engines, which come standard in all Accord Coupes (except V-6 6MT), add more power and efficiency at all engine speeds. And the V-6 features the latest generation of Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management™ (VCM) technology, which activates the engine’s cylinders as needed, providing both brisk acceleration and fuel savings.
